Kaguya-sama: Love is War His third season may be wrapping up as part of the Spring 2022 animation schedule soon, but the series’ creator will be back in a whole new way like their other works, Oshi no koAnime will be officially modified on its own. Being a manga fan can be exciting sometimes as there are many series that are gaining traction with fans because they seem perfect for anime adaptation, and one of those series that has remained prominent in the past year or so has been Oshi no Ko. Now all that hype will be tested with the full animated movie due soon.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War Series creator Aka Akasaka has teamed up with Mingo Yukuyari, creator of Scum’s Wish, on a new manga series based on Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump idol back in 2020, and now the series will officially debut in the anime. No release date or window has been set yet, but it will feature Daisuke Hiramaki and Chow Nikotomi as directors for Studio Doga Kubo (Shikimori’s Choice Project is not just cute) with Kanna Hirayama as the character designer. Oshi no kos manga has not yet been licensed for an official English language release in physical sizes, but Shueisha offers the latest and first few chapters of the series in English through their Manga Plus digital library. They tease the series like this, “In the entertainment world, lies are weapons.” Goro works as a rural OB-GYN, a life far removed from the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, his favorite idol, Ai Hoshino, is starting to rise to stardom. The two meet “in the worst possible way”, to move the gears of fate! The amazing Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari team up to portray the world of entertainment from a whole new perspective in this shocking series! “
